50 an hour The Canyon Lake Property Owners Association (CLPOA) is currently accepting applications for a full time Planning and Compliance Inspector.

The CLPOA is the captive management company for property owners within the City of Canyon Lake, CA.
The vast majority of city-wide operations, public works, facilities, physical assets, and maintenance and improvement functions are performed and managed by the CLPOA.
Other unique community assets maintained and managed by the CLPOA include:
36 miles of roads, three gated secure entrances, a private security patrol and marine patrol, The Lighthouse Restaurant & Bar, banquet and wedding venues, tennis center, water ski slalom course and jump, a lakefront 54-site RV campground, 16 beautiful parks and beaches, equestrian center, and a stunning Ted Robinson designed 18 hole Golf & Country Club, which includes our second restaurant, the Country Club Bar & Grill.

Summary:
This position inspects properties within the community and enforces standards established by the Canyon Lake Property Owners Association governing documents, including but not limited to the CC&Rs, Architectural Guidelines and Rules & Regulations.
The incumbent interfaces with homeowners, members, contractors, City/County agents, Architectural Control Committee members and other agents of the Association.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
1.
Inspects properties, including lakeside and golf course areas to ensure compliance with the CC&R's, Rules and Regulations of the Association.
During inspection visits, notes CC&R, Rules and Regulations violations.
2.
Notifies property owner and management of non-compliance.
3.
Inspects completed work to assure compliance with approved plans.
4.
Fields phone calls relating but not limited to Architectural, CC&R violations, and landscaping concerns.
5.
Effectively communicates oral and written.
6.
Provide exceptional customer service.
7.
Processes all CC&R violations in accordance with the guidelines and procedures of the department.
8.
Other projects and duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Graduation from high school or possession of a GED certificate from a recognized issuing agency.
Possession of valid California Driver's License, Class C or better.
Ability to understand and read architectural drawings and interpret measurements.
Ability to write letters, emails, and reports.
Data entry skills.
Good communication and public relations skills.
Organized with strong attention to detail.
Ability to understand and interpret CC&Rs and Association Rules and Regulations.
Professional appearance and attitude.
Must successfully pass a background check and substance abuse screening.
